Welcome to my website!

From hand-knit items and original designs to stained glass, mixed media with found objects, and upcycled pieces, the majority of pieces here reflect my intent to use overlooked objects to create meaningful art.

Assemblage

I use Assemblage to explore themes related to memory, identity, and the passage of time. By carefully selecting and arranging diverse materials, I construct intricate pieces that invite viewers to engage with both the physicality and the narrative behind the objects. These assemblages reflect a thoughtful interplay between form and concept, demonstrating how the recontextualization of found materials can generate new meanings and evoke emotional resonance.

Collage

I use collage by layering flat materials like paper, photos, and prints. It lets me break apart and rebuild images and ideas, creating visuals that highlight contrast, texture, and rhythm. Unlike a three-dimensional assemblage, collage stays flat, combining different parts in a clear and direct way. This helps me explore visual symbols and express ideas about memory and identity.

Soda Pop Art

Each earring tells a story, blending texture, color, and form to highlight sustainability and creativity. Made with upcycled aluminum cans and Sterling silver wires, these nostalgic yet bold soda pop art earrings are perfect for casual wear or unique collectibles.

Stained Glass

Experience the delicate interplay of light and color in these stained glass creations, meticulously crafted from salvaged windows and frames. Each piece embodies a unique fusion of history and artistry, breathing new life into reclaimed materials. Inspired by the vibrant spirit of Pittsburgh, the organic beauty of nature, and sleek modern aesthetics, these original stained glass and mosaic designs transform light into living art. Careful craft and design encourage calm thought and create a special link between the space and the viewer, making each place feel personal and important.

T-Shirt Weavings

My rugs are crafted from salvaged T-shirts that I carefully shred and hand-weave together. This process transforms discarded fabric into durable, machine-washable rugs that marry sustainability with artistry. Each rug I create not only helps prevent textile waste from ending up in landfills but also brings a unique, eco-friendly touch to any room’s décor. Through my weaving technique, I ensure each piece is strong and long-lasting, making these rugs functional works of art rooted in environmental responsibility.
